I need to write on TRS, but I can't.
All I think about and want to write about is THIS!
It is bat-shit crazy, and I have only been dealing with it for 4 days.
I have started reading "What to Expect When You Are Expecting" even though everyone I know does not recommend it. But I think it is okay and have found it useful in terms of what to eat. I actually have started eating their Pregnancy Daily Dozen, which is very different than Weight Watchers. You actually have to eat certain things, and they are very good for you: broccoli, spinach, dried apricots, dairy rich foods, etc. But i feel good.
The book also told me that my cramps and back aches are normal and they recommend walking it out. Well, I don't think they used the term, "WALK IT OUT," but their advice worked like a charm. I felt 85% better!
I am looking forward to my confirmation doctor's appointment tomorrow. I did set up the big deal OB appt at a friend's OB for April 2.
I am waiting to tell my mom until I can see her in person, which is in 18 days! Can't tell that I am excited about it, right?
I want to call her and tell her so bad! She has been on KW and I for the past two years to get on the baby making train. I am the only girl and the first one preggers. I really want to tell her, but I want to see her face too.
What do you guys say? Tell her now or in person? KW is of no help, just says, "do what you want."

I say wait to tell her in person, it will be SOOOO hard to wait but SO worth seeing the reaction in person and her being able to HUG you! :D I am SO SO bad with secrets, this would be hard! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm I'm probably not the best to ask. I've told flyboy about 2 out of three pregnancies over the phone since we were apart when I found out. And ironically I was at my parents so she actually knew first. Backwards I know. I would want to see her face but I cant keep secrets at all so I would tell her. I've always wanted to go get a cute grandparents card from hallmark and mail it to her and wait for the call. But alas my big mouth has always beaten me to the punch.
ReplyDeleteOh, ADawg. I think she's going to be excited about the news no matter how or when she gets it! If you want to wait, keep calling me whenever you get the urge to call her :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!!!! I am about to wet my pants! I am so excited! Hooray, TRS!
ReplyDeleteI'm sending sticky baby vibes your way :)

This is sooooooo exciting! I realize I say that every time I talk to you, but STILL!!!! It's true!!!
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way, the book I loved the most while pregnant? The Pregnancy Book by Dr. Sears. Yes, the pic on the cover is totally outdated, but I'm telling you....this book is so calming and informative and doesn't scare you at all. And then once you have the baby, I recommend "The Baby Book". I still use that book....just referred to it the other day when Carter was sick!
We did it in persona nd Jack was on the webcam back home. Jack made a sign that said, "Meet your new..." and the other page said, "Grandchild" and the picture was on the bottom, It was special because he could be a part of sharing, too!
