Baby, It's Cold Inside

Eventhough spring is here in Michigan, my body temperature has been telling me differently.

Ever since I found out about "our situation," as we've been saying around the office, I haven't been able to feel truly warm. My hands are always cold. At night, I shiver myself to sleep even with long pants, long sleeves, socks (which I NEVER wear to sleep), and a knit hat! AND 3 blankets.

I know it is just me because my thermostat says things like 68, 70, 72! KW is sweaty and thinks that his wife is crazy.

Has anyone else been through this!?!

  1. Yes, I have! For me, it goes something like this . . . during the first trimester when I am alternately heaving into the toilet and laying on the couch moaning, I am an ice cube. By the time I hit 20 weeks or so, though, the little bun in my oven starts to take on furnace-like qualities. Brent actually has to stay like a foot away from me when he's sleeping so he doesn't have night sweats. Then, I give birth, and I sweat out all the fluid I retained over a 10 month period in a series of like 3 days. It's verrrrry attractive, ha ha ha.

I guess the good news is you won't be freezing forever :)

  3. I get really hot, like hot flash hot. Especially towards the end, both boys were winter babies and I was taking the trash out in shorts and a tee shirt in feb. This is going to be lots of fun over the summer isnt it? We dont have central air either do you?

  4. My temp fluctuates. I have been nauseas on and off. I also had a few headaches as I came off caffiene. I am fatigued beyond belief, too. But week 10 is starting to feel better already!
